AnnaRose King is a New York City based Writer and Director. Recent credits include the independent comedy pilot “American Viral” as Co-Writer/Co-Creator (Official Selection New York Television Festival 2012 & Winner of Best Actress Award for Zandy Hartig (Childrens Hospital, Wainy Days).  Also stars Michael Showalter (Stella, Wet Hot American Summer), Griffin Newman (Political Animals), and Daniel Flaherty (Hope Springs, Skins).
She adapted to television Jennifer Egan’s novel “A Visit From The Goon Squad” for Rabbit Bandini productions (James Franco’s production company) with a team of four writers.

Along with her work in independent television, AnnaRose King is an award winning director. Her short film “Crystal Sessions” starring (Megan Ketch (CBS Blue Bloods) and Clea Alsip (HBO Boardwalk  Empire) picked up an audience award from the Woods Hole Film Festival 2011 and Official Selection Maryland International Film Festival 2011.



 Other directing work includes her short comedy “Stood Up” (Brooklyn Short Film Festival Official Selection 2012, Charleston International Film Festival Official Selection 2012), documentary short “Tigger!” (Short Film Corner Coup d’Coeur at Cannes in 2010), and documentary short “An Unprotecting Veil” about an incident of mass sexual harassment in Cairo won the Occidental College Award in 2008 and continues to play for educational purposes at the college’s esteemed Diplomacy and World Affairs program.

Upcoming projects include “Wrong Number” an indie romantic comedy with Abigail Spencer (Mad Men, Chasing Mavericks) produced by Rabbit Bandini. She is currently in post-production of her first feature film, “Good Enough” which will be her thesis for her MFA at New York University’s graduate film program.
